·PS結(jié)尾的問(wèn)題

　　PS的結(jié)尾在我看來(lái)是從過(guò)去到將來(lái)的一個(gè)過(guò)渡和展望吧，簡(jiǎn)要介紹一下自己的近況，自己在學(xué)習(xí)工作基礎(chǔ)之上對(duì)自己的未來(lái)有一個(gè)怎樣的規(guī)劃，自己申請(qǐng)去學(xué)校以后都研究些什么，自己在學(xué)有所成之后有怎樣的職場(chǎng)打算等等，順帶可以吹吹所申請(qǐng)的學(xué)校，項(xiàng)目組以及自己的potential academic advisor等等，嘿嘿~~

　　·PS字?jǐn)?shù)的問(wèn)題

　　我覺(jué)得把PS寫(xiě)長(zhǎng)還是相對(duì)來(lái)說(shuō)比較容易的，按照我列出的雛形寫(xiě)上個(gè)三到五段，差不多也得有個(gè)1000字左右吧，嘿嘿!然而不同的學(xué)校會(huì)有不同的要求，這樣實(shí)際上有形無(wú)形地就把字?jǐn)?shù)給限制住了。

　　比如ASU的ECE系對(duì)PS就有如下要求：

　　Please write a one-page essay describing your academic and career goals. Address the following in your essay:

　　In which specific area do you wish to study?

　　Why should you be admitted to the program?

　　再比如Purdue的ECE系對(duì)PS也有要求：

　　A statement of purpose is required for all degree-seeking applicants. Please submit a statement of approximately 300-500 words concerning your purpose for undertaking or continuing graduate study, your reasons for wanting to study at Purdue, and your professional plans, career goals, and research interests. You also may explain any irregularities or special circumstances applicable to your background and elaborate on your special abilities, awards, achievements, scholarly publications, and/or professional history.

　　總而言之，PS要想寫(xiě)好是需要花費(fèi)很大心思的，寫(xiě)了改，改了再改，自己改，別人改，一直到一個(gè)大家都認(rèn)為沒(méi)有修改的余地為止;另外，一定注意針對(duì)不同的學(xué)校撰寫(xiě)不同的PS。
