information是不可數(shù)名詞，意為“信息、消息、情報(bào)、資料、資訊”，沒(méi)有復(fù)數(shù)形式，也不能在前面加“a”，可表達(dá)為a piece of information或者some information。

　　（1）I got a message you were trying to reach me.

　　我得到了一條留言，說(shuō)你在設(shè)法聯(lián)系我。

　　（2）There were no messages for me at the hotel.

　　旅館里沒(méi)有給我的留言。

　　（3）We've had an urgent message saying that your father's ill.

　　我們得到個(gè)緊急消息說(shuō)你父親病了。

　　（4）There were four messages in my inbox.

　　我的收件箱里有四封郵件。

　　2、information用法

　　（1）Pat refused to give her any information about Sarah.

　　帕特拒絕向她提供任何關(guān)于薩拉的消息。

　　（2）He refused to comment before he had seen all the relevant information .

　　在看到全部相關(guān)資料之前，他拒絕評(píng)論。
