眾所周知，南外是一所以外語見長的學(xué)校，而其中擅長英語的“精英”們，更是數(shù)不勝數(shù)。進(jìn)入這所學(xué)校后，我才明白自己的英語多么欠缺，于是，我就開始了“漫漫”的學(xué)英語之路。殊不知這是一條苦樂交織的路。
苦
“天啊，為什么每天的英語單詞都這么多啊！”幾乎天天都能聽到我和同學(xué)們的感嘆。回想小學(xué)時(shí)，一學(xué)期也學(xué)不了多少新詞。而現(xiàn)在，英語筆記本是消耗最大的一本本子，甚至一天學(xué)的.生詞，與一學(xué)期的相差無幾。繁重的英語單詞“壓”得我喘不過起來，就連寫其他作業(yè)時(shí)，我嘴里也不時(shí)輕聲念叨著。
最怕的，還是英語考試了。我像極了寓言中寫到的那個(gè)撿一個(gè)玉米棒掉一個(gè)的大灰熊：面對厚厚一本英語本，看著那些以前學(xué)過，可現(xiàn)在早已忘記的單詞，我的大腦一片空白——當(dāng)然，考試成績也不盡如人意。學(xué)英語，真是一件“苦差事”啊！

當(dāng)然，學(xué)英語也并非完全在苦海里“掙扎”。南外的英語課，充滿了趣味：每節(jié)課都會播放一首英文歌，課前也有同學(xué)上講臺演講。而且老師們一直在教我們地道的句型和實(shí)用的表達(dá)方法。我永遠(yuǎn)也不會忘記，當(dāng)逛商場時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn)藥店門口寫著pharmacy時(shí)的激動(dòng)；坐地鐵時(shí)看到Olympicstadium的激動(dòng)……我感到所有事物正以一種從未有過的方式重組，正如用截然不同的方法詮釋整個(gè)世界。大概這就是學(xué)英語的魅力所在了吧！

One day, a rabbit and a tortoise decided to have a race. After everything was ready, they stood on the starting line.
At first, the rabbit ran faster than the tortoise and left it far behind. The rabbit was very proud of itself. Then the rabbit thought,“The tortoise is too slow to catch up with me. So I have time to have a sleep. Maybe when I wake up, it can’t get here yet.”With these thoughts, it began to sleep under a big tree. At the same time, the tortoise tried its best to run. Even though it felt tired, it didn’t give up.
Finally, when the tortoise reached the finishing line, the tortoise was waiting for the rabbit with a smile. The rabbit was ashamed.
一天，一只兔子和一只烏龜決定比賽。一切準(zhǔn)備就緒后，他們就站在起跑線上。
