Thanksgiving originated from the United States, which is the forth Thursday of November, but in Canada its the second Monday of October. It started out as a holiday celebrating the aboriginals, but now it extended to be the celebration of others around you.
On that day, people would have a 2-day break, which they would meet up with family and friends and celebrate with joy and gratitude.
The delicious turkey is the main course at every Thanksgiving dinner.

我們換了新的英語老師，因為我們的李老師請了產(chǎn)假，需要休息，當時是關(guān)老師教我們英語的，后來學(xué)校又聘了一個老師來教六年級其中的五個班。張老師告訴我們是個可愛的男老師，我們一聽， 一片嘩然，因為除了電腦老師和體育老師外，我們好像還沒有男老師呢。我心里想：這個男老師最好帥點，幽默點，嗯，對，最好這樣。
期待了好長時間也沒有看見這個”可愛“的男老師。不過那天中午放學(xué)了，我看見一個男老師拿著英語書在下樓梯，我不禁多看了他幾眼，覺得他長得太……嚴肅了。
終于，在一個星期五的上午，這位”嚴肅老師“進了我們班的教室，全班再次一陣無語，可能還是我的第一感覺，這位老師長得太嚴肅了。
我仔細地觀察這位男老師，發(fā)現(xiàn)他的嘴好像是有點歪，只是在說話時有一點。他在黑板上寫下了自己的`姓氏”石“，我們小聲的說話，說”他也姓石啊“。
緊接著他又把自己的手機號碼寫在了黑板上，說：”這是我的手機號，大家有想問的問題就打給我。反正只用三個月，以后也沒什么用，我們就沒什么關(guān)系了。“
最后一句話他是用較小的聲音說的，不過我還是聽到了，就沖這句話，我對他的第一印象就立馬下降到了另一個層次。開始上課了，他的英語發(fā)音倒是相當?shù)臉藴剩拖皲浺魴C里的音似的，這倒還 行。
